After centuries, the capital of Italy is one of the few cities in the world that keeps intacts its charm and its glory made of art, history and a magic which runs through every alley and every bulding.
With Rome “Caput Mundi” we want to homage the eternal city with four days full of surprises, selected visits and real italian adventures between sports, cooking classes and tastings. You will know Rome in a different way, not only in the most famous and well-known places but also in the most modern and sophisticated ones, symbol of a city that is evolving and transforming itself.
Arrival in Rome and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon tour of the Classic Rome, an itinerary by coach and foot to visit the classic monuments of Rome.
Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Naiadi's Fountain , your guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historic center where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, the Column of Marcus Aurelius, Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon, Palazzo Madama seat of the senate, Piazza Navona and Via dei Coronari (the street of antique shops). Turning next to Castel Sant'Angelo and along Via della Conciliazione, you get to St. Peter's Basilica where the guide will give explanation from outside.
This morning after breakfast you will have a guided tour of the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, your english-speaking guide will show you all the best of the Vatican collection. You'll see ancient cartography in the Gallery of the Maps, visual illusions in the Gallery of the Tapestries. Raphael's frescoes and the wonderful Sistine Chapel. Of couse we won't forget that highlight, as we visit Michelangelo's world-famous Last Judgment and The Creation of Adams in the Sistine Chapel.
In the afternoon Outlet Shopping Tour at Castel Romano Outlet, where you will have the opportunity to buy the best italian luxury brands at discounted prices.
After breakfast a beautiful experience awaits us, a Villa Borghese Bike Tour, we will cycling the ground of the stunning Villa Borghese with your guide and discover one of Rome's largest parks open to the public, seeing romantic monuments such as the Tempietto of Diana, the Pupazzi fountain and more.
In the afternoon you will enjoy our Tridente Tour, a pleasant walk in the center of Rome among historical monuments and shopping streets.
Our visit begin from Piazza del Popolo, where the egyptian Obelisk is located. Than walking trough via Ripetta we will reach the Ara Pacis, a building designed by the architect Richard Meyer, the third street of the Tridente is via del Corso, which will connect us to Piazza di Spagna where shopping and modernity give way to the baroque art with the Barcaccia fountain and the imposing staircase dominated by the church of Trinità dei Monti.
